The Adelaide Event and Exhibition Centre has been launched as part of an aggressive push by the Adelaide Showground's 26 hectare site to capture a bigger share of the national business events and exhibitions market. This initiative is the first major achievement under a $180 million Master Plan.

The third largest exhibition space in Australia, the AEEC can offer 26,300 square metres of integrated air-conditioned space, 16,000 square metres of landscaped outdoor event space, including a 200 person amphitheatre. An extensive dining area, complete with updated kitchens, can accommodate sit-down functions for 300 to 2,000 guests and spectacular meeting spaces are fitted with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment and wireless internet technology.

One of the most environmentally-friendly exhibition centres in the world, the AEEC boasts strong green credentials. Self sufficient in water and electricity, the new Goyder Pavilion features a 3.5 million litre underground water storage system and a 10,000 square metre solar panel installation.

Only 3 kilometres south of the Adelaide CBD, AEEC offers quality visitor comforts and services with 2,000 on-site car parks, bus, coach and taxi-drop zones at the main entrance, modern amenities and parenting rooms, ATMs, wireless internet, VIP parking and an extensive food and beverage offering are just some of the features.
