Proudly sitting on the waters edge in the hub of Pyrmont’s business district and housed in the former CSR Sugar refinery site, Sugaroom restaurant and wine bar is surrounded by tranquil parkland and boasts spectacular views across Johnstons Bay to Balmain through to the inner harbour.

Open for à la carte service lunch and dinner with generous internal and alfresco dining, Sugaroom's menu design combines fresh vegetarian and seafood produce, providing popular choices for the locals and enticing discerning diners from further afield. The wine list reflects the menus diverse influences and embraces both regional favourites and fresh trends of the new world, resulting in an approachable, affordable selection.

Sugaroom is established as a popular destination for weddings, christenings, birthdays and corporate events. With 100 to 150 capacity, Sugaroom can cater for all styles of events. From intimate to extravagant, canapé or formal sit-down, Sugaroom will endeavour to work with your requirements to make your event a success.

Sugaroom restaurant and wine bar is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes. The wine lounge is open all day and serves light meals and bar snacks throughout the day.

Sugaroom offers BYO wine Tuesday to Thursday for a maximum of four guests.

The A LIST Guide Team recently had dinner at Sugaroom and were extremely impressed by the excellent food on offer, prompt polite service and a sensational location. The beef carpaccio, hiramasa kingfish, seared japanese scallops and oysters were a great way to wet the palate. The beef fillet was tender and tasty, confit duck leg with braised savoy cabbage was great and recommend trying the special beef cheeks. A great wine list to accompany the food is available. Very highly recommended for a corporate lunch or dinner and a great space to create your own event only moments from the CBD.
