Bungalow 8 has capitalised on the stunning location with a glossy lacquered bamboo and rattan interior creating an intimate warm ambience elevated by multi-layered paper and cane lights that dance across the surface of the ceiling like suspended moons.

Location, location! To label Bungalow 8 as perfect would not be far from the truth. The food is fresh and served with skill and charm, the atmosphere is crazy good and behind the scenes the team work to please all the guests.

Who need Mussels (muscles?) We all do! Bungalow 8 sits on the 'party strip' of Darling harbour, easy to locate for the geographically challenged, all you need to tell them is 'keep on walking' its at the end of the wharf. If you love Mussels of the seafood rather than male kind, the time to go is Tuesday. Ditch the movies, don a bib and tuck into mussels in Belgium style pots which would have Belgo in Covent Garden, london green with envy. For just over $20 you can eat all your stomach capacity will allow. The great thing is that they cook them to order. So choose from Laksa (my fav) or go Provencale or even challenge your taste buds with Thai curry flavour pots of deliciousness. Top tip for fast opening - use a shell! see mother nature provides all you need. Enjoy but book in advance, its a popular institution.

I Love Bungalow 8, the atmosphere is electrifying. It has everything you want, friendly staff, dancing, drinks and the choice to relaxing and socialising or dancing the night away.

A beautiful summers night could not have been more perfect with the sweet sounds of a funky jazz band playing live at Bungalow 8. Dancing with friends around the band whilst sipping on a cocktail...highly recommended. Great location too!
