Amy has been working in the hospitality industry and managing corporate events for over a decade, in Australia, Europe and the United States. After graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce, Amy travelled extensively throughout Africa and Europe. A chance encounter at a horse race in Deauville, France, resulted in Amy landing a job as an Event Manager by one of the UK’s most respected event management companies, TEAM.

Amy’s role as an Event Manager at TEAM involved working with high profile IT clients such as Nokia, Cisco Systems, Intel and Compaq. In particular, she was responsible for the creation and implementation of their most exclusive incentive programs. Additionally, her remit included organising exclusive incentive reward events across Europe including the sailing in Malta, skiing in Switzerland and skiidooing on glaciers in Iceland.

Over nine years later, Event Planet is established as one of Australia’s most respected corporate event management companies. Over the years, Amy has developed an invaluable address book of the best venues, suppliers and activities that Australia has to offer. Knowing that there was no comprehensive guide providing this kind of information, Amy spotted a gap in the market. The first edition of A LIST Guide Sydney was launched in 2005 to wide acclaim. A LIST Guide Melbourne was launched in July 2006. Now the guide is available in a single, national publication A LIST Guide Australia, which covers all States and Territories nationwide.
